Established in 1958 in downtown Conway by four local business leaders, Peoples Underwriters has maintained a commitment to personal relationships. Carrying on that tradition, Peoples Underwriters continues to be an independently and locally owned insurance agency involved in our community.

In 2000, Peoples Underwriters expanded their footprint and opened a location in the Carolina Forest of Myrtle Beach to better serve our clients.

Today, our staff serves customers from two convenient locations in Conway and Carolina Forest area of Myrtle Beach. Peoples Underwriters is a member and active participant of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA), of South Carolina (IIABSC) and Horry & Georgetown Counties (IIABHGC).
